Seed to Soul Foundation exists to make trauma-informed, body-based healing more accessible for veterans, people in recovery, trauma survivors, and underserved communities.
Veteran-Led • Trauma-Informed • Community-Based • Nonprofit
Many people carry trauma, stress, grief, addiction history, military service experiences, and emotional overwhelm in ways that are not only mental — they are physical, relational, and deeply embodied.
Traditional support can be essential, but many individuals also need safe, body-based practices that help them reconnect with sensation, choice, regulation, and self-trust.
Seed to Soul Foundation was created to help bridge that gap.
Our programs meet individuals within the systems and communities
already serving them.
Veterans & First Responders
Body-based support for those carrying stress, service experiences, transition, and nervous system strain.
Recovery Communities
Trauma-informed practices that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and reconnection during recovery.
Trauma Survivors
Safe, choice-based healing experiences that help participants rebuild trust with the body.
Underserved Populations
Access for individuals and communities who may not otherwise receive this kind of support.
Seed to Soul partners with recovery programs, veteran organizations, shelters, community agencies, justice/reentry programs, and nonprofit service providers to bring trauma-informed healing into the places where support is already happening.
Rather than replacing existing services, our programs work alongside them — helping strengthen regulation, connection, participation, and follow-through.
We help remove financial and logistical barriers to body-based healing.
Programs are offered through trusted community and referral partners.
Participants are guided by trained, trauma-informed practitioners in safe, structured settings.
Seed to Soul’s approach is rooted in the understanding that lasting healing is not only about knowing what happened or naming what hurts. Many people already understand their patterns intellectually but still feel stuck in the body.
Our programs invite participants to notice sensation, breath, emotion, impulse, boundary, choice, and truth in a safe, supported way. Over time, this helps create the conditions for deeper regulation, connection, and self-trust.
FOUNDED FROM LIVED MISSION
Seed to Soul Foundation grew from lived experience, personal healing work, and years of supporting others through trauma-informed yoga therapy, somatic awareness, embodied self-inquiry, and community-based care.
As a female veteran-founded nonprofit, Seed to Soul is committed to expanding access for veterans, recovery communities, trauma survivors, and underserved populations throughout Alabama and into the communities where this work is needed.
